Produced by Dugald Maudsley for Infield Fly Productions, the film follows Janice Kirkpatrick on an extraordinary journey from the Clyde Valley to the heart of the Canadian Prairies. The famous Clydesdale horse is in danger of being caught in what many call the “vortex of extinction”. Janice uncovers the true story of the Clydesdale horse, and traces a Canadian family who’ve protected the ancient black Clydesdale bloodlines for five generations. With this discovery she may have unlocked the secret to reviving the Scottish herd.

Says Welsman: This score uses a lyrical, traditional British Isles musical vocabulary, with cues that range from intimate and pensive in tone to wide open, rhythmically driving themes.
